Lemony Sugar Snap Peas
12 oz. fresh sugar snap peas (about 3 cups)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ tsp. cracked black pepper
- Wash the sugar snap peas and remove tips and strings
- Combine all ingredients in a medium size bowl and enjoy!
- Heat 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil in a medium size skillet over medium-high heat
- Add the sugar snap peas and all other ingredients tossing to coat the peas then let cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently until peas begin to puff and are still crisp but a little tender
Note: Add about 1 tsp. lemon zest if you want a little more citrus kick!
