Fire Sautéed Swiss Chard




1 bunch fresh, Swiss Chard

1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

1 clove of fresh garlic, minced

1 tsp. crushed red pepper

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

¼ tsp. sea salt




  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet on the stove turned to medium heat.
  2. Sauté garlic and crush red pepper for about 1 minute
  3. Add Swiss chard and sea salt and cook for three minutes, stirring continually
  4. Remove from stove when Swiss chard is wilted
  5. Serve warm and store leftovers in a covered container in the fridge


Notes: collard greens, spinach, turnip greens, and kale all work well in this recipe
