Broccoli Salad



4 cups broccoli florets (about 2 small heads)

¼ red onion, diced

1 large carrot

1 cup grapes

¼ cup slivered almonds or sunflower seeds



1 cup plain yogurt

1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp. honey

¼ tsp. salt



  1. Prepare dressing by stirring together all ingredients until combined then set asisde in the refrigerator while preparing salad
  2. Cut broccoli into small, bite sized pieces and place in large bowl
  3. Peel the carrot, then use a large-holed cheese grater to shred into the bowl, or simpy chop into small pieces
  4. Slice the red onion into paper thin slices and add to bowl
  5. Cut grapes in half then add to the bowl, along with slivered almonds or sunflower seeds
  6. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad and toss until well coated
  7. Place the salad back in the refrigerator and let it marinate for 15 to 20 minutes before serving
  8. Give the salad a quick stir before serving to spread the dressing out again
  9. Enjoy!


Note: feel free to add any herbs or spices for desired flavors
